Monitryx Saloon Temperature presents real time information about the temperature of a vehicle passenger saloon area (and the external ambient temperature) to enable the operator to monitor passenger comfort. The raw data is collected using on-train temperature sensors. The temperature data is presented in an intuitive manner highlighting at a glance for each vehicle.

The historical temperature data for each vehicle can also be viewed online graphically or exported for further analysis. Users can subscribe to email alerts that are triggered when the temperature exceeds client configured thresholds, both too cold or too hot. This allows operators to identify heating or air conditioning issues early, monitor them over time and plan appropriate maintenance activities avoiding in-service failures leading to passenger discomfort.
