Monitryx Bearings
Monitryx Bearings presents real time information about the health of critical bearings fitted to rail vehicles (for example wheels, suspension tubes, gearboxes). The raw data is collected using on-train mounted vibration sensors using proprietary hardware supplied by Perpetuum. The results of the bearing vibration data analysis is presented in an intuitive manner highlighting at a glance the condition of each monitored bearing.
The historical health data for each bearing can also be viewed online graphically or exported for further analysis. Users can subscribe to email alerts that are triggered when the health of a bearing exceeds client configured thresholds. This allows operators to identify bearing health issues early, monitor them over time and plan appropriate maintenance activities avoiding in-service failures.
