CCIL

Control Centre Incident Log (CCIL) is Network Rail's incident management and logging tool that is extensively used 24x7 by Network Rail as well as various TOCs/FOCs controllers to collaboratively manage any incident impacting upon the operational railway. CCIL allows controllers from different organisations to work together to effectively manage incidents. An automated interface to RSSB's SMIS solution exists as well as incident mapping support.

Features

The application enables Control Centres to record information about incidents and events, define an incident summary and share information with other companies involved in the incident. It also enables the NOC to define their own separate summary of the incident.

In addition, CCIL enables route controllers, train controllers and the NOC controllers to generate their logs based upon common information entered by multiple companies into the database. This allows Control Centres to work more efficiently, record accurate information and provides common incident information to the UK rail industry.
