Our Services

clyx.net offers a wide range of services to the rail industry. We specialise in delivering up to the minute information to the end user using the latest technologies to ensure a fast, secure and user friendly approach to railway knowledge.

clyx.net currently provides the following services. Click the links below for more details:

Audyx
Audyx is a web based audit planning and management tool, developed by Interfleet Technology.

This application has been designed such that it can be used by an Audit Sponsor, Auditor or Auditee.

Audyx provides online, up-to-date information with regard to a total audit programme i.e. auditees, dates, locations, auditors, vehicle classes, Corrective Action Requests (CARs), observations and recommendations, and display this information in a Gantt chart format. It has been specifically designed for rail based clients.

Audyx has an intuitive search facility that enables you to find the audit you are looking very quickly, display some summary information about the audit and once uploaded, display the final audit report. Progress on the status and close out of CARs, observations and recommendations can be quickly monitored. One of the reporting features is a 'Management Dashboard' that provides an instant visual health check on the state of all your audits.

Application Feedback
Application Feedback provides users with the ability to report any problems with and request new features for all clyx.net applications.

Once you have filled in the feedback form, one of our software developers will be assigned to deal with your problem/request. You will also be given a unique reference number so that you can track the progress of your feedback using the Application Feedback search engine.

Cardyx
Interfleet Technology has a comprehensive contact management system called Cardyx.

This application is now available over the internet via clyx.net to all of our extranet subscribers as a free service. Cardyx enables users to find Interfleet Technology personnel contact details quickly and easily.

The Cardyx service will also expose information that we know about individuals from your organisation. Please help us to keep this information up to date and accurate. So, if a person changes their telephone or email address, please use the edit facility that is available for each contact to inform us. Also, please let us know if an individual no longer works for your organisation. This will enable us to manage clyx.net accounts more comprehensively and also in a more secure and robust manner.

Certifyx
Interfleet Technology has an established a VAB (Vehicle Acceptance Body) service called Certifyx, which enables us to manage VAB certificates for our clients and provide them with round the clock access to the information contained on VAB certificates.

Certifyx utilises modern Internet facilities to search and view certificate details online. Coupled with the database is a library service for all hard copies of the certificates. Railway Group Standard GM/RT 2000 Issue 2 mandates that Train Operating Companies keep accurate records of VAB certificates pertaining to the vehicles they operate. The need for this has increased when the requirement to supersede previous certificates came into full effect on the 31st December 2001.

The Certifyx service offered by Interfleet Technology does enable companies to fulfil all their obligations under GM/RT 2000.

Subscribers to the Certifyx service will receive the following benefits:
• 24 hours per day, 365 days per year internet access.
• Unlimited number of user accounts.
• A library of subscriber certificates stored at ITL.
• The ability to quickly and logically search the database to find the required VAB certificate.
• The ability to store certificate details from any VAB, not just ITL.
• A warning system that advises subscribers that a certificate is due to expire.
• The ability to view a web copy of a certificate.
• The ability to view a a scanned image of a certificate.
• The ability to track Special Limitations for a vehicle fleet or unit.

Projyx is an online project management service, which provides rail industry companies with the ability to share information relating to their project with authorised team members.

Projyx provides project managers with the ability to fully control their own projects online. Project users are able to access and update a wide range of information contained within the project extranet. Each user may have access to one or more different projects at any time.

Projyx has the following benefits:

• All information is controlled by one or more designated project managers.
• Other users have the ability to see all information and can contribute to defined areas depending on their access rights.

Slyx
Slyx provides subscribing companies with online information on the health of their equipment based upon oil analysis results.

These results are derived from a spectral assessment of the chemical elements and compounds found in lubricating oils, plus specific physical properties. This data is provided by specialist laboratories who submit the detailed results to Interfleet Technology for interpretation and trend review.

The interpretation and trending analysis conducted by our experienced specialist engineers provide the following benefits:
• Reduced in-service failure costs.
• Reduced corrective maintenance costs.
• Planned not reactive repairs Improved equipment reliability.
• Increased revenue-earning potential.
• Reduced overhaul costs.
• Early warning of failures.
• Improved technical performance.
• Availability optimisation.

Once the oil spectral analysis is received, it is checked and subjected to a high quality engineering interpretation assisted by specialised software tools. The data is then fed into Slyx along with a statement describing the condition of the equipment and any specific action which needs to be taken. All abnormal results are communicated immediately to the Client.

Slyx provides the user with two basic functions:
• A graphical representation of the oil analysis results for a particular vehicle.
• A reporting facility identifying when the last sample was taken and what action is required. Subsidiary information such as engine/component serial number and age is also provided.
